Electronic Equipment, as it ages, may need periodic alignment and verification that it continues to meet all specifications and functionality. Moving parts, such as in Sirens, have lubricants that may need replenishment. Lamps may need replacement at periodic intervals. Knobs, levers and controls can become damaged from wear or abuse.

It is often more economical to outsource maintenance and repair services than to employ a in-house expert electronics or mechanical staff.  In many cases, a contract to provide maintenance services is less expensive and more advantageous than time-and-materials visits.
